More pretty, from Warren this time

These look like a neat little fall leaf picture, but I totally took them in June or July. But it's fall now, and it works, so whatever.

Seems I have a thing for wooden fences. Yep. Just scroll down.

Flowers are pretty.

So my neighbors right next door to me have this really neat little lawn (all behind a big wooden fence, of course). One of their roses somehow grew through the fence, though, between two of the slats. It was late for roses, because the weather was so oddly warm (ah, global warming), so it lasted into October. Really pretty.

But the best part is the bird poop right beside it... Hey, nature does not care, lol...

Parade, yaaaay

They had a parade for Columbus Day down the middle of Little Italy. They're apparently all about Columbus, there's a statue of him at the bottom of the hill. I mean, I know that he was Italian and all, but he was sailing for Spain, for the love of god... Oh well, the parade was cute, though. Cheesy, but cute.
The best part was that my camera is kind of big, and semi professional-looking; I was also standing on the corner of the street where there was a camera guy filming for somebody or another. So a bunch of the people who went past thought that I was a professional photographer, taking pictures for a real organization. I totally ran with it. It was awesome.

This little old guy on a cart was playing the accordian. It was so cutely stereotypical.

Here's a better view of that.

I just like trolleys.

I don't know what this float is supposed to be about, but there's a bridge over a river.
This? Is an old-fashioned, antique... hearse. How very festive. (Note how it looks like a deceased cop car is riding inside of it.)

This is just a neat old car.

The hearse again. Before I realized what it was. Oh, what a cute glass-sided carriage...

These girls were stomping real grapes. Which I thought looked way fun. According to my brother, the girl on the left was wearing red panties, which you could see when she stomped really high. Yep. Shouldn't wear red panties under a white dress.

I thought that these clowns were really cute until one of them came up and stuck an "I heart Jesus" sticker on me. Then I thought they were annoying.

These are just a bunch of chicks from this salon, wearing pink wigs for breast cancer awareness. And spending money that could have gone to cancer research on pink wigs and a float.

These women were walking with the pink people. I don't know why the hell they were dressed like Disney princesses.

Either the pace car is really proud, or this means "peace" in the language of some foreign country's gay pride group, who was being represented by this SUV.
I don't know why I took this.

The priests in this picture were shouting at the kids to "c'mon and make some noise! Get people excited!" There's just something entertaining about priests trying to make a crowd "get rowdy."

Another neat car.

Does this name mean something dirty, or am I just a perv? Pootan? For real.

BOAT

There was a regular Orlando bakery truck (the brown with stripes in the left side of the picture) that followed this cool old one; instead of candy, they were throwing packages of ciabatta rolls into the crowd. I'm not kidding--I got one. It was totally awesome. I love ciabatta.

See? These guys were standing near me, and they got free bread too. They had me take their picture with their free bread. Do I know who the hell they are, or get their names? No. Why? Because the thought never crossed my mind that they were talking to me for any reason but bread. Because I'm an idiot. (On the other hand, I may have been right. I was in no way wearing makeup that day.)

This is the last one I'm gonna post I think, enough parade.

Please note the restraint I had in not putting up any pictures of kids walking with priests just to make some cheap joke about fondling. Please trust me when I say that this took all of the restraint in my being.

Woo-hoo, this is the bigtime now, boy

I've decided to start a real blog, mostly as a place to put all of the pictures that I take where people will see them. I know damn well that I'm going to do actual blogging as well, though, because I'm an opinionated bastard. Or beyotch. Or whatever. But here's my first group of pictures, all from Little Italy in Cleveland, where I live.

This is my dog, Scottie. Okay, so maybe this isn't a picture of my neighborhood, but he is in my apartment, which is in my neighborhood. Note his grey fuzzy face. He's so old. Awww.

This is an old, closed theatre down the road from me. They're doing some kind of construction to it right now; I think a bakery or something is going in the building. I just hope they don't tear down this neat old marquis.

This creepy dungeon-door thing is from the side of Club Corbo's, a ritzy-ish place. I don't know what the hell the door is to.

Way to put a tree-trunk in the middle of a picture.

The same theater at the same time, just taken differently. It looks less cool here...

This is a little alleyway beside Mama Santa's pizza, where my brother works. Their pizza kicks ass, it is so damn tasty.

Turn your computer monitor to the side, and this looks cute... I don't know how to rotate in here yet...
